Katishtya Trails Mercantile, LLC is a Native American Owned Business. Fernando Padilla, Jr. (San Felipe Pueblo/Navajo) and his wife Stefani Padilla (Chickasaw) are the sole owners.
Fernando Padilla, Jr. has always had art integrated with his life through his many relatives as fellow artists and craftspeople. Inspiration and encouragement from his families has always been one of the major motivating factors in Fernando’s pursuit of developing and nurturing his art styles. He knows the gift of dreaming & creating works of art comes from the Great Creator and the encouragement to realize those works from his loved ones. Fernando Padilla, Jr. is a Master Artist and has shown his works throughout the United States as well as Internationally. Stefani Padilla has her background in business administration and the law. She has been the business manager for Padilla of San Felipe since the two started dating back in the early 90′s. Although she has always enjoyed being creative, it wasn’t until recently through the loving encouragement of her husband, that she began to explore her creative interests. Stefani does most of the beadwork and necklaces, as well as some photography for Katishtya Trails Mercantile, LLC.
